Two versions, 256 GB and 1 TB, sold through a draw to keep resellers at bay.
Valve has launched its virtual reality headset, the Steam Frame. It costs 1,049 euros for the 256 GB version and 1,279 euros for the 1 TB version.
No rush to order: Valve allocates the first units through a draw among those who signed up, to limit reselling. The first invitations to buy went out in mid-September; everyone else goes onto a waiting list.
The headset follows the Steam Machine, Valve’s living-room console released at the end of June.
