Highly anticipated, but still undated. The next Mass Effect, which fans call Mass Effect 4 or 5, has no official title or release date. On N7 Day in November 2025, BioWare said development was ongoing. According to reports this spring, the game is still in its early stages, and it was a no-show at Summer Game Fest 2026.
Alien: Isolation 2, on the other hand, has shown its face. Announced in October 2024 for the original’s 10th anniversary, the game from Creative Assembly and Sega was officially revealed at Summer Game Fest on June 5, 2026. You’ll follow Blake, a member of a Weyland-Yutani survey team, on a storm-battered colony a few months after the events of the first game. But no release date has been announced, and 2027 is only a guess.
The next possible update: N7 Day on November 7, when BioWare traditionally shares news about the series. In space, no one can hear you ask for a release date.
