Proud, disciplined, guided by a code of honor: the Tevarin dared to challenge humanity, twice. They lost their world, their fleet… and almost their identity.
A warrior people
- A martial society led by a military government, whose highest office was Warlord.
- Their code, Rijora, similar to bushidō, exalted honor, loyalty and duty. Breaking it could mean exile or death.
- Their world, Kaleeth, has since been terraformed and settled by humans under the name Elysium IV.
Two wars against humanity
- 2541: first contact. In 2542, the Tevarin seize Idris IV: the First Tevarin War lasts over four years, until their defeat after the Battle of Idris IV.
- 2603: their leader Corath’Thal returns with a rebuilt fleet to retake Elysium IV. The Second War lasts seven years.
- June 24, 2610: Squadron 42 crushes his fleet at the Battle of Centauri. Corath’Thal and his last pilots lower their thermal shields and dive into Elysium IV’s atmosphere.
After the defeat
- During the period known as the Purge, most survivors abandon their religion and destroy their holy books, the Codices.
- Absorbed into the UEE, the Tevarin remain few and still face discrimination and repression. Many live in the unclaimed Branaugh system.
- A sign of hope: in 2946, Suj Kossi becomes Elysium IV’s first Tevarin senator.
- Their legacy lives on in ships like the Talon and the Prowler, built by Esperia from their designs.
Talon or Prowler: which Tevarin legacy do you fly?
