NASA’s Crew-13 mission lifted off on 1 October at 11:10 a.m. Florida time from Cape Canaveral, aboard a Dragon capsule launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The first stage came back to land at the base.
On board: Americans Jessica Watkins (commander) and Luke Delaney (pilot), Canadian Joshua Kutryk and Russian Sergey Teteryatnikov. They will spend about six months on the International Space Station.
They take over from Crew-12, on the station since February, which includes French ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot.
