The sequel to Studio Trigger’s anime will be released on 20 October 2026 on Netflix, with all ten episodes available the same day. The date was announced with a new trailer at the Anime NYC convention.
Edgerunners 2 tells a story that stands apart from the first season, with new characters. Kai Ikarashi directs, taking over from Hiroyuki Imaishi.
