RTS fans will have to wait a little longer: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, originally due on September 17, now launches on December 3, 2026. Developer KING Art Games and publisher Deep Silver want to take the time to polish the game.
The extra time is going toward performance optimization, bug fixes, and gameplay balance, folding in feedback from recent community playtests. Buyers of the Commander Edition get to play three days early, starting November 30.
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war… and the occasional delay.
