Align ground antennas, power a Hathor orbital laser and open a cave of rare ores on Daymar or Aberdeen.

Hathor sites are in Stanton, on the moons Daymar and Aberdeen, not in Pyro. Four orbital lasers (Attritus and Lamina above Daymar, Ruptura and Vivere above Aberdeen) are each linked to three ground alignment facilities, the PAFs. You align the antennas, collect three industrial batteries, mount them on the laser, then fire from a bunker to open a cave.

The cave holds ores you can hardly find anywhere else: Carinite, Jaclium and Saldynium, in high demand for crafting. This is the “Assault Orbital” or “Align & Mine” activity: one and the same.

🗺️ Map and rewards

Map and rewards : Hathor sites: Align & Mine (orbital laser)
Schematic map: the order of the steps is exact, distances are not.

The route

  1. 📋 Contract (Foxwell Enforcement / Head Hunters) : Take the Hathor mission in your mobiGlas.
  2. 🏭 PAF sites (Daymar or Aberdeen) : Blue cards outside, red cards at kiosks, red room at the antenna base.
  3. 💻 Control station (PAF ground floor) : Insert 3 alignment blades (60 s between each).
  4. 🏭 Yellow garage (PAF) : Pull out the industrial battery with a MaxLift tractor. Repeat at all 3 PAFs.
  5. 🛰️ Orbital laser (Attritus, Lamina, Ruptura, Vivere) : Place the 3 batteries in the arms, prime the laser, take the firing card.
  6. 💻 Firing bunker (1 km from impact) : Insert the firing card and fire the laser.
  7. 🕳️ Opened cave (Impact site) : Mine Carinite, Jaclium and Saldynium (multitool, ROC, ATLS GEO).

🎁 Rewards

⛏️ Resources Carinite · Jaclium · Saldynium
💎 Rare items Materials for crafting and Wikelo trades
⚙️ Components Crates in the laser storage rooms

Random loot: a single run does not give everything. Loot tables change with patches.

🔑 Requirements

  • A Hathor mission (Foxwell Enforcement or Head Hunters tabs)
  • Being at Daymar or Aberdeen (Stanton)
  • A MaxLift tractor beam for the batteries
  • Mining tools for the cave

🚀 Recommended ships

🧰 Recommended equipment

  • Multitool with MaxLift tractor and mining heads
  • Fuses to repair electrical panels
  • A mining vehicle: Greycat ROC or ATLS GEO
  • Armour, weapons and healing

🧭 Steps

  1. Take the mission : In your mobiGlas, Foxwell Enforcement or Head Hunters tabs, then reach a PAF on Daymar or Aberdeen.
  2. Blue and red cards : Collect blue cards in the outer buildings, print red cards at the kiosks in the double garages.
  3. Align the antenna : In the red room, take 3 blades and insert them at the control station, waiting 60 s between each.
  4. Get the battery : The yellow garage opens: pull out the industrial battery with a MaxLift tractor. Repeat at all 3 PAFs.
  5. Power the laser : Fly to the orbital laser, place the 3 batteries at the end of the two landing arms.
  6. Prime the laser : Control room (lower level): prime the laser when everything is green, take the firing card.
  7. Fire : At the firing bunker (red beacon, 1 km from impact), insert the card and fire the laser.
  8. Mine the cave : Enter the cave: small nodes with a multitool, big ones with a ROC or ATLS GEO, at low power.

💡 Advanced tips

  • Check the kiosk timer before using a card
  • Some red rooms can be reached by climbing, without a red card
  • The laser’s 4 storage rooms may hide gear
  • A medical ship on site avoids long trips back
  • Beacon OPS, Mining tab, shows the Hathor sites for each ore

⚠️ Common mistakes

  • Coming without a MaxLift tractor
  • Inserting blades too fast (wait 60 s)
  • Mining at full power: the ore shatters
  • Leaving the cave unguarded against other players

☠️ Risks

  • Juvenile Valakkar spawning when blades are inserted
  • Mercenary NPCs respawning fast
  • Other players drawn to the cave
  • Fragile ores: they shatter if you push too hard

💰 Profitability

Worth it for crafting: Carinite cannot be sold in game, it is used for crafting or traded between players. The activity is long and little played, hence an average rating.
