Orbital map of the La'uo (Virtus) system

With an expanding red giant at its centre, the UEE happily ceded this Perry Line system to the Xi’an. It’s known for its sanctioned piracy: the Xi’an Empire authorises select gangs to operate under conditions. That doesn’t make it lawless: unauthorised criminals face the wrath of the government… and of the sanctioned gangs.

🪐 Its worlds, from the star outwards

La’uo (Virtus) I · Pi’tua (evaporating planet)

Pi’tua, a planet evaporating since the star became a red giant.

La’uo (Virtus) II · Yengchuai (lava planet)

Yengchuai, turned into a lava planet. Mines and factories stand between huge lava flows, many of them hard-labour camps for Xi’an prisoners, which sentient-rights activists in the UEE denounce.
👥 inhabited

La’uo (Virtus) III · Kyu’ām (smog planet)

Kyu’ām, a smog planet heating up fast under the red giant.

La’uo (Virtus) IV · S.ap’uāng (gas giant)

S.ap’uāng, a gas giant with a turbulent, storm-wracked atmosphere.

☄️ Belts, clusters and stations

  • Huichuaihyao y.ath’o se La’uo (asteroid belt): Made of small asteroids: Xi’an consortiums prefer to build their stations on its fringe.
  • Huichuaihyao sy.en’o se La’uo (asteroid belt): No visible mining: probably still being surveyed.
