R.il'a (Rihlah) system: a former Xi’an military hub open to human business

During the cold war, R.il’a (Rihlah) was one of the main Xi’an military hubs. Today it is an industrial and commercial powerhouse open to the UEE. Humans are more welcome here than almost anywhere else in the Xi’an Empire, though where they can go is still tightly controlled.

🪐 Its worlds, from the star outwards

R.il’a (Rihlah) I · Chuai’chuai (protoplanet)

Chuai’chuai, an airless rocky protoplanet.

R.il’a (Rihlah) II · P.uay’aha (puffy planet)

P.uay’aha, a hot “puffy” gas giant with a huge, very low-density atmosphere.

R.il’a (Rihlah) III · Ping’leth (rocky planet)

Ping’leth: jagged rocks, a thin atmosphere and very rapid rotation. Unlikely to be terraformed.

R.il’a (Rihlah) IV · Xōl’uu (rocky planet)

Xōl’uu, covered in former barracks and military factories, is becoming an industrial hub where human businesses are encouraged to set up: a striking blend of both cultures.
👥 inhabited

R.il’a (Rihlah) V · Xi (super-Earth)

Xi, a super-Earth home to 50 to 100 billion Xi’an. Foreigners stay in the Kōri’lya landing zone, surrounded by dense jungle. A community of UEE expatriates and refugees has been growing there since the Messer days.
👥 inhabited

R.il’a (Rihlah) VI · Pi’pa (dwarf planet)

Pi’pa, an airless dwarf planet so distant its star is barely visible.
