Tanga’s star has become a white dwarf. Its two planets lie on the outer edges: the inner planets are thought to have been destroyed when the star expanded. Their remains form a metal-rich belt. By shedding its outer layers, the star created a beautiful planetary nebula that draws a few sightseers.

🪐 Its worlds, from the star outwards
Tanga I (chthonian planet (former giant core))
A former gas giant whose atmosphere was stripped when the star became a red giant. Its core is rich in minerals.
Tanga II (ice giant)
An ice planet subliming in the heat, trailed by a stream of gas along its orbit.
☄️ Belts, clusters and stations
- Tanga Belt Alpha (asteroid belt): Rich in precious and heavy metals, probably the remains of the former inner planets.
