📜 Its history
Tumbril Land Systems was founded in 2536 by Kavya Crosby and Aaron Douze, a couple who grew up on Yar, a world of fine sand that is hard on vehicles. Their first prototype, built from an old loader cart nicknamed the “tumbril”, became the DX20, which initially failed to sell. Then the First Tevarin War broke out in 2541: the DX20 proved combat-ready and Tumbril became a key army supplier. The company went bankrupt in 2862; in 2941, the DevCo Group bought the brand and revived its designs for the 30th century, such as the Cyclone, Nova and Storm.
