📜 Its history
The Vanduul are a nomadic species organised in clans, in contact with humanity since 2681. Every attempt at peaceful contact has failed, and they scuttle their ships rather than be captured, which is why so little is known about them. After a first wave of attacks (the fall of Orion, Virgil and Caliban), their raids have killed millions. The attack on Vega II, on 5 October 2945, led the Senate to formally declare war on them on 11 November 2945.
