Star Citizen ship: Anvil Hurricane, heavy fighter

The Hurricane packs deadly firepower into a slight fuselage: no creature comforts, but six guns able to blast through almost any shield.

📜 Its history

The Hurricane was created in 2607 by Casse Aerospace during the Second Tevarin War, to destroy Tevarin ships the moment their phalanx shields failed. Hard to master because of the pilot-gunner coordination, it only entered service in 2609 and was retired after 2615. During the Vanduul incursion of 2871, the Navy wanted a fighter with focused firepower: Anvil then revived and modernised the old design.
