Star Citizen ship: Anvil Legionnaire, boarding

The Legionnaire is a military-style boarding vessel: it carries a boarding party of up to ten, and its copilot can bypass the target ship’s security protocols.

📜 Its history

In April 2918, the Navy failed to board a pirate Caterpillar and lost a full platoon of Marines. Every manufacturer prepared for a tender… but the military instead asked for ideas to improve boarding. Only Aegis and Anvil kept designing a ship. Anvil developed “Legionnaire” in secret, under cover of helping RSI with the Aurora LN, and put Grott Taylor in charge of engineering, despite his known opposition to war.
