SpaceX's heavy rocket launched the secret NROL-97 payload from Florida. Its two side boosters came back to land.
On the night of 1 to 2 October, a SpaceX Falcon Heavy lifted off from Kennedy Space Center for the NROL-97 mission. It is the first time the NRO, the US spy satellite agency, has used this heavy launcher.
The two side boosters came back to land at Cape Canaveral. The centre core, a new one, was not recovered.
As always with these missions, the payload and its orbit are classified.
