Centauri system: one of the first systems settled, and home to MISC

Discovered in 2365, Centauri was one of the first systems settled by humanity. Its third planet was fast-tracked for development. A major battleground in the First Tevarin War (2541-2546), it was even briefly conquered by the Tevarin. Today it’s best known as the human headquarters of shipbuilder MISC.

🪪 The system at a glance

🪐 Its worlds, from the star outwards

Centauri I (protoplanet)

A protoplanet with no atmosphere or known resources.

Centauri II · Yar (rocky planet)

Yar, covered in arid red desert, was terraformed then largely abandoned once its minerals ran out. Little remains but research stations.
👥 inhabited

Centauri III · Saisei (rocky planet)

Saisei is designed to balance nature, housing and industry: its Governor’s Council caps the population, and businesses, like MISC in Fujin City, must follow strict environmental rules.
👥 inhabited

Centauri IV (rocky planet)

A rocky coreless planet scarred by impact craters.

Centauri V (super-Jupiter)

A super-Jupiter several times more massive than a typical gas giant.

☄️ Belts, clusters and stations

• Centauri Belt Alpha (asteroid belt): A belt so dense it could have formed a planet. Rich in heavy metals, it sees pop-up mining bases supplying Saisei’s industry.
