Orbital map of the Nul system

A pulsating Cepheid star blasts Nul with heat, making life there difficult. Despite several terraforming attempts, the UEE left it unclaimed. It stayed nearly empty until 2571, when the UEES Olympus crashed into Ashana while hunting anti-Messer activists. Criminals, drifters and expatriates now live in its wreckage.

🪐 Its worlds, from the star outwards

Nul I (dwarf planet)

A dwarf planet slowly being burned away by the pulsating star.

Nul II (iron planet)

A large iron planet too close to the star to mine. The heat has cracked its surface, and gas is leaking from its scorched mantle.

Nul III · Cole (rocky planet)

Cole, on the edge of the habitable zone, with an ammonia and sulphur atmosphere. Its only landing zone is Char, an abandoned research station with a small population.
