Orbital map of the Hades system

Named after the mythological underworld, Hades is an ancient battlefield. Xenoarchaeologists believe a civil war drove a civilisation to self-annihilation. The UEE registry lists it as having “three and a half planets”: the half is Hades IV, split in two by a mysterious force. Some are convinced the Hadesians’ planet-killer technology is still hidden there. Read our Hadesians fact file.

🪐 Its worlds, from the star outwards

Hades I (mesoplanet)

Airless, but its craters and ruins show the Hadesians once lived there. Its atmosphere may have been another casualty of the war.

Hades II (rocky planet)

Covered in shattered Hadesian cities, under a violent atmosphere of volcanic ash and relentless winds.

Hades III (smog planet)

Its toxic atmosphere keeps most xenoarchaeologists away. Its craters hint at the horrors its inhabitants suffered.

Hades IV (rocky planet)

The famous “half planet”, split into two halves by a mysterious force.
