Orbital map of the Hadrian system

Nicknamed “No Man’s Land”. Near Xi’an space, Hadrian was strategic during the cold war. Today it’s the main shipping checkpoint between the UEE and the Xi’an Empire. Stay in the buoy-marked lanes: outside them, cold-war anti-ship mines still lie unexploded.

🪐 Its worlds, from the star outwards

Hadrian I (gas dwarf)

A gas planet with a rocky core, its atmosphere too volatile to terraform.

Hadrian II (gas giant)

A Class III gas giant: a featureless blue globe.

Hadrian III (ice giant)

Nicknamed “the Watcher” for the large dark spot on its pale surface, an ice giant on the system’s fringe.

☄️ Belts, clusters and stations

  • Hadrian Belt Alpha (asteroid belt): Unexploded anti-ship mines still lurk here, so the belt was never mined, except by a few daring miners. A buoy-marked path crosses it between the Terra jump point and the others.
  • Hadrian Flotilla (space station): At Hadrian II’s Lagrange point, former military stations turned into a huge bazaar. New trade stations keep opening: it has become a mecca for trade with the Xi’an.
