Orbital map of the Min system

Min is unique: at its centre is not a star but a rogue gas giant with four moons. No resources, little of interest… and yet life found a way: bioluminescent bacteria live on Min 1b, where a small group of settlers has even set up camp.

Min · Min I (rogue planet)

Min I, an ammonia-clouded gas giant drifting through space with no star, pulling its four moons along.

Its moons:

  • Min 1a (Min 1a): An uninhabited rocky moon, stripped of minerals.
  • Min 1b: The largest moon: a thin atmosphere and surprising warmth from the tides of its eccentric orbit. Bioluminescent bacteria live near hydrothermal vents in its oceans, and settlers have moved in. 👥 inhabited
  • Min 1c: The smallest moon, with no atmosphere or resources.
  • Min 1d: A rocky moon dotted with impact craters.
