The symptom: items disappear, turn into something else or won’t equip, or your character suffocates for no reason.

Unexplained suffocation	🟢 You have two helmets equipped. Remove the extra one
Items replaced by fire extinguishers	🔴 The ’verse works in mysterious ways
Items lost when swapping armour with a full inventory	🔴 Always keep free space
Dropped weapon attachments can’t be picked up	🟢 Don’t drop them
Items missing when you come back	🟢 Look near the bed in your hab
Crafted items showing no bonus	🟢 Equip the item, then reread its description
Pledge items missing	🟡 A Character Repair has helped some players

💡 The habit that avoids half of these bugs: always keep some free space in your inventory, and store your valuables in a station inventory rather than on you before a risky session.
